Our Approach to Head & Neck Pain

We start with a world-class assessment to understand why you’re experiencing head or neck pain. This means we look beyond just “where it hurts”. This includes movement analysis, joint and tissue evaluation, and a detailed conversation about your lifestyle, training and goals.

1. Assess the Root-Cause

Our first priority is helping you feel better. We use a combination of evidence-informed treatments to decrease pain and calm irritated tissues. Some of these include: chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy (myofascial scraping, cupping), and dry needling among others.

2. Reduce Pain & Discomfort

3. Restore Movement & Function

We aim to restore faulty movement patterns that are likely the root cause of your pain. Once we have reduced some of the irritation & pain, we shift our focus to how your body moves. This is where long-term results are built. Treatment may include: targeted mobility work, functional rehabilitation exercises using techniques such as Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT), GRIP Approach, and other traditional rehabilitation exercises.

4. Return to the Activities you Love

Our goal isn’t just symptom relief, it’s getting you back to doing what you enjoy with confidence. Whether that’s working out, playing sports, or staying active with your family. We build a plan that supports your lifestyle and goals.

It’s important to note that no two cases of head and neck pain are exactly the same. That’s why every treatment plan is tailored to the individual. At Main Health Collective, we combine chiropractic care, movement-based rehabilitation, and hands-on therapy to help you move better, feel better, and stay better.

  • “Had a great experience with Dr. (Zach) Main! Came in with back and hip problems I had been dealing with for a year and a half but with adjustments and functional rehab work, I am back to feeling just as good if not better than I was before my injury. Would highly recommend for your chiropractic care.”

  • “Absolutely love Dr. Marissa! She has explained so much to me on one visit than all my doctors combined in several years! She was able to tell me things from reading my bloodwork that my doctors did not even pick up. Honestly amazing! She is so sweet, really listens and like I said really explains things! I highly recommend her!"

    - Angela

    - Will

  • “If you are looking for a doctor who is compassionate, present, and truly invested in your well-being, Dr. Marissa is an incredible choice. She desires to treat the whole person, not just a list of symptoms and it is why my experience with her set the standard for what health care should look like.”
